Hugh Fulford

Hugh Fulford began preaching when he was 15 years old and served as a full-time minister in the church of our Lord for over 42 years. Following retirement from full-time ministry in 2000, for the next 24 years he served churches on a part-time or interim basis and preached in gospel meetings, spoke on lectureships, and continued an active writing ministry. He wrote for the Gospel Advocate for 50 years, beginning as a staff writer in 1973. He has been a regular writer for The Spiritual Sword for over 25 years and continues to write for the journal. In all, he has preached the gospel for over 71 years and has authored five books. For 13 years he sent out a weekly email column titled “Hugh’s News & Views.” Now, because of the restrictions of age, he is limited to occasional preaching and teaching, and the bi-monthly issue of his column. He resides in Mt. Juliet, TN and is a member of the Mt. Juliet Church of Christ.
