Allen Webster

Allen Webster has preached the gospel since 1984 and serves as an instructor at the Memphis School of Preaching.

Personal

Allen Webster was born in Anniston, Alabama, on April 25, 1966. He was baptized in Ohatchee, Alabama, on April 25, 1978, during a gospel meeting preached by James Boyd. He has three children:

• Daniel (born 2000), married to Curry
• David (born 2002)
• Lois (born 2003)

There are six gospel preachers in his immediate family.

Education

Allen was part of the first graduating class of the Freed-Hardeman University Master of Ministry program (1989–1990). His educational background includes:

• B.A. in Biblical Studies, Faulkner University (1986–1988), where he studied under Wendell Winkler.
• Undergraduate Diploma in Biblical Studies, Memphis School of Preaching (1984–1986).
• Graduate Diploma, Memphis School of Preaching (1989–1991), where he studied under Curtis Cates.

Preaching

Allen Webster conducts:

• The Bible’s Big Picture weekends

He is on the road approximately forty weeks each year, preaching gospel meetings, lectureships, special Sundays, and Wednesday night series.

His local preaching work has included:

• Jacksonville, Alabama (1995–2020)
• Tiplersville, Mississippi (1989–1995)
• Oxford, Alabama, associate minister (1986–1988)
• Somerville, Tennessee, while a student (1984–1986)

Allen Webster serves as:

• Editor of House to House/Heart to Heart, a publication reaching millions of households through churches of Christ.
• Staff writer for The Spiritual Sword.

He has also written:

• Approximately 500 gospel tracts (with millions of copies in print)
• Five Bible correspondence courses
• Three Bible class books

Conferences and Leadership

Allen is one of the directors of Polishing the Pulpit (PTP), attended annually by thousands of Christians, and also helps oversee PTP Sparks, which has been held in various locations throughout the United States, India, and the Bahamas.
